About the author

Dr Lucy Tucker graduated in Biological sciences from the University of Lancaster in 1991. Following a year as a lab technician, she went on to complete a PhD in animal nutrition at Harper Adams Univeristy College. It was here that she taught statistics and realised the need for this book. Since then she has held technical management posts in the animal feed and biotechnology industries and is currently employed developing and marketing feed supplements for agricultural and domestic animals.
